Purpose

Envies is an app for couples, in the shape of a daily game. Every evening the app offers five cards to each of the two partners; the ones you both answer “yes” to become your shared wishes, and one of them is drawn at random with a deadline to make it happen. By installing and using Envies, you accept these terms.

Adults only

Envies is for adults only: the cards touch on intimacy, sensuality and sexuality between two consenting adults. The app is not for minors. You confirm that you are 18 or older the first time you open it.

A heat setting, from 1 to 5, decides how far the cards go; the more cautious setting of the two partners always wins. Each of you can also exclude up to three categories, without the other knowing which. You are never required to carry out a wish: skipping, declining or letting a wish expire is part of the game.

A two-player game, joined by code

The app is played by two people. The first partner creates the couple and receives a code; the second enters it to join. That code is permanent: it is used to join, then to reclaim your seat after a reinstall or a new phone. It is up to you to share it only with the person concerned; anyone holding it can take a seat in the couple. The code can be changed at any time from the Us tab, which immediately invalidates the old one.

Individual answers stay private: the app never shows one partner what the other answered card by card, only what you both accepted.

No named account

Envies asks for no email address, no password and no sign-up. An anonymous session is created automatically to link your phone to your couple. You freely choose a display first name, for yourself and for your partner; nothing obliges you to use a real one.

Subscriptions

As long as your partner has not joined the couple, the first day of play is free. Once you are two, Envies is fully open for three days, starting on the day your partner joins the couple; the number of days left is shown in the Us tab. Beyond that, access to the cards and to shared wishes requires a subscription, Envies Duo: a single subscription, taken by either of you, unlocks both partners.

The subscription is monthly; its price, that of the App Store in your country, taxes included, is shown in the app before any purchase. No plan includes a free trial period: the free offer is the one described above, with no commitment and no payment method required. Should a free trial ever be offered and you cancel during the trial, Duo access would end immediately. Solo subscriptions taken before 12 October 2026 remain valid until cancelled: they unlock only the person who took them.

Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown, unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Management and cancellation happen in your App Store account settings, never inside Envies: deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Refund requests are handled by Apple.

Leaving the couple, changing partner or deleting your account does not cancel the Apple subscription, which stays attached to your Apple account.

Content and ownership

The cards, the texts, the illustrations and the design of the app belong to the publisher and may not be reproduced or redistributed. The card catalogue evolves; cards may be added, changed or removed without notice.

Your data

What is collected and how long it is kept is set out in the privacy policy. You can export your data, leave the couple or delete your account at any time from the Us tab.

Availability

The publisher works to keep the service available but guarantees neither uninterrupted service nor permanent availability of the server. The service may change or stop; subscriptions in progress would remain cancellable at any time in the App Store settings.

Liability

Envies is a game: the wishes it offers are suggestions, never obligations. The publisher cannot be held responsible for the use you make of them, nor for what you and your partner say to each other.

Governing law
